Handbridge Design Guidelines
We have worked with consultants AECOM to produce detailed design guidelines for Handbridge which, if approved at final consultation, would need to be taken into account for any planning applications in the Handbridge designated area. HNF awarded £5.4K Locality Grant
The Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum has been awarded £5,450 for printing costs and commissioning consultants http://www.oneillhomer.co.uk to assist us with drafting the neighbourhood plan in preparation for formal consultation.

Handbridge Neighbourhood Area Design Code
On 13 September, in an online meeting, eight Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum (HNF) members discussed feedback on the detailed draft AECOM design codes report that had been emailed to all members on 29 August. Feedback from CWaC and other stakeholders is also being considered by the HNF committee to pass back to AECOM.

Handbridge noticeboards
At the July Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum AGM it was proposed and agreed to make greater use of local noticeboards to raise awareness of the neighbourhood plan and opportunities for local residents to be aware and have their say. With permission from the various noticeboard owners we have now started adding posters to noticeboards.
Forum meeting 8pm Wednesday 13 September
We have emailed forum members an invite to an online Zoom meeting at 8pm Wednesday 13 September to discuss feedback on a draft planning design codes report and other updates.
Guided Walk 5 July
Meet outside the Carlton Tavern, Hartington St, at 7pm on Wednesday 5 July. Committee members Tom Welsh and Helen Speke will lead a walk around the local area to illustrate some of the planning issues that a Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan could address. No need to book – just turn up on time!
