The forum AGM was held on 25 September, with 16 people present and the committee was elected. There was a Q&A on the draft plan consultation and update on next steps.

The Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum has been awarded £5,311 funding from Locality to complete the post consultation phase of revising the draft neighbourhood plan and production of other required documents and submitting these to CWaC.

The 2024 AGM is on Wednesday 25th September at 6.30pm at St Mary’s Handbridge Center, Chester CH4 7HL. Find out more and get involved in the next phase in the development of a neighbourhood plan for Handbridge. No need to book, just turn up.

Following the public consultation that ended on 30 June 2024 on the draft Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan, the Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum Committee has reviewed all comments from residents and organisations. The Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum has launched a public consultation on the draft Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan with a deadline of 30 June 2024 for comments. We have finalised the proposed list of local green spaces to be considered for extra protection in Handbridge based on an evaluation report that is published in the documents area of the Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan website. The proposed local green spaces are:

We have published information specific to the Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan Area from the 2021 and 2011 national census. There are 2200 households in the Area.
