Neighbourhood plan to go to local referendum

CWaC’s public consultation on the draft Handbridge Neighbourhood Plan ended on 13 February.

This was followed by an independent examination of the plan, which also took into account any comments received during the CWaC public consultation.

The examiner made six recommended minor modifications to the draft plan and a revised plan went back to CWaC and the plan received Cabinet approval on 20 May.

CWaC’s decision, the examiner’s report, and other documents can be found here:

Preparations are now being made by CWaC for a local referendum this summer, which is the next stage of process.
