The meeting took place at University of Chester Queen’s Park Campus and updates were given on the draft policies. There were two outcomes:
Firstly, it was pointed out and agreed that evidence gathering and reports commissioned by the Handbridge Neighbourhood Forum using Locality Funding would be valuable to community groups and Residents’ Associations for a myriad of uses.
Secondly, the Forum was asked to ensure that Green Spaces policies considered recreational use benefits for local residents in addition to environmental/wildlife benefits.
